Operation Emotion was set up by the Survivors
of one of Britain's most prolific paedophiles. The brave men
forfeited their right to anonymity to ensure that Bill Goad was convicted for
his evil crimes and sentenced to life imprisonment in October 2005.
Following their ordeal and the
subsequent trial, they felt
that there was a huge lack of support for male survivors of rape and sexual abuse.
They were determined to ensure that future survivors were not
treated as they were. They wanted professional support to be
available to all male survivors of sexual abuse at the crucial time
of need.
They have fought for their fellow
survivors, to ensure that much needed support is available and have
worked with local charities and community organisation to launch
Operation Emotion. Unfortunately it is too late for some
and we dedicate this site to them.

Our founder
members feel passionate about providing
support for ALL male survivors of sexual abuse. "We all
need help and support to move on in our lives and leave the past
where it belongs."
Operation Emotion is for all of you,
from whatever background, and from whatever stages in your recovery –
this is your long-awaited support network.
Whether you join Operation Emotion to participate in
group therapy or just come to listen and meet people who share a
common denominator, please know that a very warm reception is
awaiting you.
There is no need to suffer in silence
any longer.
