We offer FREE access to a qualified Art Therapist.  The BBC Children In Need awarded us a grant to fund this new position for 3 years.  Our Therapist, Shellee Chisholm, works from a studio at Twelve's Company in Devonport, but is also available for outreach work in Plymouth and the surrounding areas, and can carry out sessions during school time, on school premises.

Shellee works with children of all ages and cultural backgrounds covering a range of problems such as learning difficulties, physical disabilities, cultural differences, bereavement, trauma, neglect and abuse.  Art Therapy will enable children to experience personal growth through the use of art materials including paint, clay, puppets and sand tray work.

There is Specialist therapy for Children who have disclosed recent abuse.  We also provide Crisis intervention and emotional assessments for young people under 18 if you know someone in need.

Since launching this service with have been inundated with clients, and there may be a short waiting list for sessions, however we will endeavour to see everyone and will make every effort to immediately accommodate urgent cases.
